ok...i'm 15(i know...i am at a age where i can get one) but i don't want one.This is because my friends and cousins that have a myspace are presurring me to get a myspace cause i should have one.I already told them that i don't socialize on the internet even if there my family members....i get bored talking online.I'm either on yahoo answers or youtube because thats fun.so what do u think about this?

Is this a good reason not to get a myspace? im a parent and i wish there was no myspace i have nothing but problems with my computer becuz of the kids downloading crap from there i delete thousands of files twice a week and there is no supervision on the site you can pretend to be whoever you want and you can access all kinds of inapropriate things from there not to mention you allways hear on the news about predators on myspace finding children and hurting them if i could i would delete the whole thing role playing whats that i say be yourself and dont give in to peer pressure you will get farther ahead in life that way spend more time being usefull and less time wasting space its not my space and i dont think it should be yours

i got one a few months ago and i love it just to keep in touch with friends because i have left school and just started college. and it's cool to write blogs and still arrange days out over it.

Is this a good reason not to get a myspace? I think that your reason is a perfectly good one. You shouldn't let anyone pressure you into anything, myspace or otherwise. When someone asks you if you have a myspace, just shrug it off and say "No." There's no need to explain yourself.

MySpace is cluttered with unwanted ads and crap anyway, so you're making a good choice. But ultimately, it's up to you and what you feel like you're gonna be using.

I have one, but only to communicate with friends I use to see inperson (we've moved away to other parts of the country), a few fav. artists and check on a few non-mainstream bands I like. I don't have a photo of myself on there, just a few photos I've taken that are unusual. Help keeps the spam away when no one knows what gender I am.

Is this a good reason not to get a myspace? IF YOU DONT WANT IT DONT GET IT. This is something you should decide to do and/or want to do on your own. I do have 3 kids 2 of them have it one does not and that is his choice. My children have it on private so only the people they want on it can contact them. There cousins don't live nearby so they send pictures back and forth. They don't talk much on it. but you can always send pics on email. so you really don't need it. it is up to you.
