Good Digital Camera for Beautiful Myspace Pictures? Canon A530 OR A540?

I have had a myspace for quite some time now and have yet to purchase a digital camera to put pictures of myself up. I'm not too sure on which camera to buy, so that I will take beautiful photos.

The choices are between a Canon A530 and a Canon A540. Which one is better?

I'm looking for:

High optimal zoom.

As much photo editing as possible, like color, skin complexion lightening/darkening, etc.

And excellent capturing of the person facial features and things of that nature.

Please help me.

If you are comparing between these two cameras, the Canon A540 wins hands down. It has one extra megapixel (although 5 MP is enough for web viewing) meaning higher resolution.

Both of them has ISO 800 but according to CNET, the A540 has better use of ISO then the A530. Personally, I prefer the A540 because if its smaller buttons. The A530 big buttons just seem like a play toy camera.

The sad things about these two are that they use alkaline batteries. If you are intending for traveling its useful but if your not, better choose another.

If you want to find good digital cameras try Sony or Olympus. Depends on what閳ユ獨 your price range.

Like Jack said, the alkaline batteries suck!

If you like the Canons, try the SD1000. I have it, and I love it. You can do thing on the camera itself, ie, make the picture more "vivid", lighter/darker skin tones, neutral colors, black and white, sepia..... It also comes with photo editing software. It's a small, but durable awesome camera with 7.1MP and 3x optical zoom.

But, if you like the A series, I say go with the 540

digital cameras are made to use rechargeable battery.

A530 and 540 don't have high zoom
