it can be. myspace now has its own record label. the only problem is that there are so many people already on myspace trying to get noticed.. it'd be hard, so maybe you could do certain things to promote you and your profile.

If I were you, I'd try getting involved in amateur dramatics. That way you'll be performing a lot, and you might get noticed by an agent on opening night. It also gives you lots of experience which is always a bonus.
