it all depend on how you use it, if you use it to contact friends and list to music and watch video's if you use it to post sexual pictures of your self and for revenge then obously its bad.

Its only bad if you put way to much information about yourself on it. If you do you could have your own personal stalker. From Hot 99.5, 1 out of every 9 women have a stalker followering them without them even knowing.

it all depends what you're into. its a great way to spend time and to keep up with and meet new people, but only if you want to. the thing that makes it different from other sites is that with a knowledge of HTML you can personalize every part of it. And the 'customer service' is extremely friendly. it just gets a bad rep because some people don't use it wisely.

Bad, period. Just use it for a few weeks and see how many viruses are picked up by your system. Also notice how much spyware is infected to most computers on the network.

MySpace has become a hackers dream come true whereby they can infect hundreds of thousands of computers within a few seconds.

For the trade off of everyones 15 minutes or seconds of fame, they've allowed themselves to be susceptible to a lot of the junk thats floating around on the Internet.

Play with it for a while and then do a scan of your system and you'll see what I'm talking about. I work on cleaning up people's systems everyday and all but a handful of them are dedicated MySpace addicts.

For me it's great because it gives me plenty of work but I won't have it on any of my systems knowing the ramifications of it and I'm not that desperate for fame.
