what is so good about myspace. i mean have people not got a life? do they need to go on the internet for friends? also why is everyone desperate to go on it at school or work...im 18 and i dont care about it i hate things like myspace and Bebo etc..Whats so good about it!

Personally? I think people like to stay in touch and at the ripe young age of 18, it just another form of popularity contest. It is a race to see how many 'friends' you can get and who can have a cooler page. Honestly, if you do cave in and get one, take a look through some people's list of friends and I believe that a lot of friends are just superficial.

I mainly use it as a backup for my blog. My bloghost has some server problems. Otherwise I agree: it's no use to me, nor should it be for anyone.

Ok,,,I love MYSPACE. Because It has all of my real life friends on it not ppl I dont know. It gives you a way to share photos with friends and family also who dont live close to you. It is supposed to give ppl a way to connect. Maybe you dont like myspace becasue you dont have any friends to put on . lol . I'm 20 and have a job and go to college it's not like I dont have a life. Encourages ATROCIOUS web design, crashes browsers, slows down computers... and that's just the pages the people make there.

Not to mention all the bots, perverts, sluts, ***** and what have you that infest it.

Actually, it's a place to entertain and be entertained by other people...evidently alot of people think it's an enjoyable way to pass idol time.

It's like any other contact site. It helps me keep in touch with family in other states and share family photos with them. I see it as no different than having Yahoo or gmail account. Same thing. It's just that you can add some more stuff to it.

One of my favorite things about online networking sites is the capability of staying in touch with out-of-town friends. If I were to call them a lot or something, then my phone bill would be out of the roof. Once you go to college you might care about it more so you can stay in touch with high school friends. Now that I'm out of college I enjoy staying in touch with college friends as well.

Also, it is a good way to share photographs with people across the world. I have friends in Europe who I want to share with some pictures of events I attend. It's hard e-mailing a lot of pictures because there is not enough space to. So uploading them on a site makes it easy for them to view a large amount.

not everyone's myspace is based around how many friends they have. Some people just want to communicate or share photos with their friends or family through myspace. Its just like you communicating with your friends or family through email.
